On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, TOM OTTERMAN, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away. He was born October 28, 1948 in Youngstown, OH., to Donald and Velma (Shaw) Otterman.

Tom grew up in Youngstown, OH. He graduated from Ursuline High School and Villanova University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree. He served his country in the Army as a Captain.

Tom is survived by his wife, Sandra Otterman (Scaparotti) and his children, Tom Otterman and his wife, Rowena, Elizabeth Otterman, Gretchen Ashton and her husband, Stewart and stepdaughter Megan Grant and her husband, Seth. Tom loved his beautiful grandchildren, Ella, Kyle, Bradley, Abigail, Stewart and Kameron.

Tom is survived by his brother, Peter and his wife, Nancy Otterman of Madison, OH. Tom is preceded in death by his sister, Jane Otterman Edwards and his parents, Donald and Velma Shaw Otterman.

A future memorial service will be held to celebrate Tom's life when it is safe to gather. Tom's spirit, love and kindness will always be remembered and cherished.

I haven't seen Tom since the late 70's when he was my CEO in the Guard.  I remember Tom as a great classmate and equally great CEO in the Guard. RIP Tom.
