Chris was a good kid.I lost touch with him after high school. He was bullied at Ursuline which, I believe, prompted his decision to transfer to Austintown Fitch. It made perfect sense to me. For some reason, Bob Parise would always punch Chris really hard in the shoulder when returning to class after lunch. I thought Parise was a bullying punk bullying Chris the way he did.

May you rest in peace, Chris, in God's love. I know you will know His eternal love and peace in God's mercy and love.

Chris, rode the bus to the west side, St. Chrisitine parish.  He was a quiet person and looking back I see now that he was easily a target for bullying which I knew nothing about back in those days.  It was just a sense that he was vulnerable and because of that I would sit with him on occasion on our ride from St. Chriistine to Wedgewood Park and would try to engage him, I cannot say that we were close but I would see him from time to time after high school at the grocery store or out and about.  In truth, I was surprised to see that he finished his last year at Fitch.  It is sad as I think about that.  He was invisible to most and even myself as I did not realize that he wasn' t there anymore.  I try to imagine how absolutely lonely a person can feel in a crowd if he/she is a litttle different.  I pray that he is at peace and that he is now in the loving arms of God and all of the bullshit that he had to put up with during those very vulnerable years is just a faded bad memory.  Rest in peace Chris.  You certainly have earned it.

I remember Chris from Immaculet Heart Mary grade school. He was a quiet person. He always spoke with my sister Kathy. I

think he had a secret crush on my sister .🙂

I did not know about the bullying of him in high school, as we were never in the same classes. It is a shame that it happened

in a " catholic high school "  !  We were supposedly good " Christians " .

God Bless you Chris , and may you rest in peace with the Lord Our God .
