So sorry to hear of her passing at such a relatively young age. Fond memories of the laughter she created.

I can see Jacky snickering right now. What a good sense of humor! What memories.

I have fond memories of Jackie from way back in grade school at St. Christine's.  In 1982 our paths again crossed when she and her husband, Perry and my wife, Amy and I adopted our sons, Jason and Matthew through Catholic Charities. We even baptized our boys on the same Sunday at St. Charles.  We became friends, and were quite saddened when she passed away. Two of our son's friends, a brother and sister are Jason's cousins and are also Ventrescos. I never made the connection that she was Jacquelyn O'Dea until I read her obituary tonight. She was very loving and as happy as we were that we were blessed with adopted sons. God bless you, Ventrescos, and know you are in our prayers.

Jacky and I used to ride the bus together for both St. Christine's and Ursuline. She always was such a sweet and friendly girl. But when we met up in later years, it was because we both had mixed marriages. You see, we both married Cardinal Mooney "Class of 63" graduates!  We had great fun together catching up at the Mooney class reunions!  Gone much too young. May her soul rest in peace.

We have been losing so very many of our classmates lately.  I can still see Jackie's beautiful face as we walked the halls of Ursuline.  She was a good soul and my prayers are with her and her family.
