Phil was my roomate at Ohio State University for 2 years. We played lots of basketball together, and he was a great competitor. I introduced him to his wife in our sophomore year at OSU. He was a good student and hard worker. I was shocked to learn that he died from a heart attack at such a young age.  We had a  lot fun together, and he was proud to be from Ursuline HS.

Eddie, Thank you for your post on Phil. I was very saddened to hear of his passing in 1975 back when we were all so very young and he was already married with  children.Marty Garchar, myself and a few others made many trips to OSU in Columbus. You and Phil were always so very nice in allowing us to always stay at your apartment those two years. All of us had so many great times together back then going to the Buckeye games and at the Varsity Club on High Street.   To me these will always be  great memories of that time.May Phil rest in peace..
