William G. Jones
GIRARD – William G. Jones, 58, passed way Friday, July 28, at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Jones was born Feb. 1, 1948 to the late Donald S. and Annabelle Faloon Jones in Youngstown.
William worked for 35 years in the credit department for the East Ohio Gas Co., retiring in 2001.
He was a 1966 graduate of Ursuline High School, a member of St. Rose Church and the Girard Eagles Lodge, and enjoyed riding through the country and going to flea markets.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie K. Toney, whom he married May 29, 1988; his son, Billy Ray Rhodes of Columbus; a sister, Shirley (Tom) Libeg of Hermitage, Pa.; and a brother, Dan of Howland.
He was proceeded in death by his mother-in-law, Cassie Toney; and a brother, Bob Jones.
There will be a memorial service today at 3 p.m. at Blackstone Funeral Home where visitation will follow until 6 p.m..

Billy was always a good friend..I can see the twinkle in his eyes and that infectious smile as I write this. So sad to have lost so many of our fellow classmates over the years...it just shows how important the future is to enjoy all the friends we see so seldom.
