Gordon F. ''Gogo" Keenan

HUBBARD — Gordon F. “Gogo” Keenan, 75, passed away Friday afternoon, April 12, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. 

Gordon was born May 16, 1948, in Sharon, Pa., a son of Boyd F. and Anne Mae Sovik Keenan.

He was a lifelong Hubbard resident and graduated from Ursuline High School in 1966. He was a postal worker in Hubbard and a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a member of the Ursuline Boosters, Knights of Columbus and Moose Club, and served in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a state boxing official and was a former city precinct committeeman.

He leaves two brothers, John (Nadya) Keenan of Youngstown and Richard (Diana) Keenan of Hubbard, and several nieces and nephews.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, OH 44473. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements handled by Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Gordon. His fun entry is the first one in my yearbook. We had good times in Mechanical Drawing class our senior year.   Gogo will be fondly remembered and to the family my condolences

I was sorry to hear of Gordon's passing! I recently returned to the Poland area after 50 + years away. I am working to catch up.
