CHANDLER, Ariz. — Robert W. Peet, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Jan. 22, 2022, in Chandler, Ariz.

He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Helen Peet; and children, Dr. Kristine (Andrew) Hollern, Robert C. (Tara) Peet, Jeffrey (Kim) Peet, and daughter-in-law, Andrea Peet; as well as grandchildren, Kate, Claire, Brendan, Riley, Ellison, and Hank. He also leaves behind his sister, Deborah Peet Akers of Tulsa, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Audrienne Peet; his sister, Diane Peet Ross; and his son, Joseph Peet.

Bob was a 1961 graduate of Miami University, where he earned his bachelor’s in education while playing football. He began his teaching and coaching career at Ursuline High School. From there he accepted a position with Princeton High School in Cincinnati. He then continued his teaching and coaching profession at Lakewood St. Edward and finally finished his career at Canfield High School, where he taught math and coached football and wrestling. Bob was inducted into the Canfield Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2006 for his time coaching wrestling. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching golf, football and wrestling.

Monsignor James A. Clarke will celebrate the life of Bob at a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Canfield.
